Perform comprehensive factory acceptance testing (FAT) for newly assembled vacuum chambers at the Batu Kawan facility, including:
Ultimate vacuum pumping performance
Helium leak testing
Multi-zone temperature uniformity
Plasma ignition reliability testing
Develop automated testing scripts using LabVIEW or Python , establish long-term thermal cycling and vacuum stability test platforms, and automate data collection and analysis.
Analyze production defects such as:
Vacuum leakage
Temperature imbalance
Seal failures
Excessive outgassing
Generate yield analysis reports and work with manufacturing and design teams to implement corrective actions.
Develop FAT and SAT testing procedures, first article inspection standards, and complete final acceptance before shipment.
Track failure trends, establish a chamber failure database, and continuously optimize testing procedures and acceptance criteria.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Vacuum Technology, Precision Measurement, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of vacuum equipment or semiconductor component testing experience.
Technical Skills
Proficient in UHV testing equipment.
Vacuum gauge calibration.
Thermal cycling reliability testing.
Basic Python or LabVIEW scripting is preferred.
Soft Skills
Strong quality mindset.
Good statistical analysis skills.
Able to prepare testing SOPs and acceptance reports in English.
