Validation Engineer

Focuses on PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) hardware debugging. This role involves working on the finalized silicon (Post-Silicon) and using debug tools and methodologies to troubleshoot and resolve issues found in PCIe controllers and associated systems.

Key aspects of this job:

• Post Silicon Validation:

This means the engineer works with the actual silicon chips after they have been manufactured, testing their functionality and finding bugs.

• PCIe Debugging:

The primary focus is on the PCI Express interface, a high-speed serial expansion bus standard used in many computer components. This includes identifying and fixing problems related to PCIe link training, data transfer, power management (like Active-State Power Management or ASPM), and hot-plugging.
