Role Overview
As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations and ensuring the venue is fully prepared for a wide range of events. This role requires a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all front-of-house (FOH) operations, including ushering, box office, security, and hospitality (F&B) services
- Ensure smooth event execution, including FOH setup, crowd flow management, and audience safety protocols
- Manage venue bookings and coordinate event calendars effectively
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, accessibility, and overall venue readiness
- Collaborate closely with event organisers, production, and technical teams to ensure seamless operations
- Oversee FOH staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and facility management standards, including routine maintenance and inspections
- Manage venue budgets, expenditures, and reporting
- Oversee inventory management for FOH operations
Requirements
Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
5+ years experience in venue or event operations.
Strong leadership and customer service orientation.
Ability to manage multiple events and teams concurrently
