We're hiring! We are looking for a Vice President, FSPG to join our team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office. The role will primarily focus on building the Cyber portfolio within the FSPG team and the wider Aon Cyber Solutions team.

What The Day Will Look Like

Leadership

  • Provide specialist technical advice to colleagues and clients on managing exposure to cyber risk and cyber insurance
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of the broader Aon Cyber Solutions offering (proactive, reactive and advisory services)
  • Present on cyber risk and insurance in individual client meetings as well as large client events
  • Partner with Aon resources (Sales & Marketing, Specialty Team, GBC and in-Country teams) to deliver the widest practical range of insurance solutions and services to client
  • Complete contributions to tender responses to ensure timely submission and quality of reports
  • Collaborate with the market and to secure optimum outcome for client risk coverage
  • Contribute to key thought leadership content for our clients and markets, and demonstrate understanding and insight into the industry, clients, risks and solutions
  • Contribute to up to date marketing materials on carrier appetite and solutions available to Specialty clients
  • Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time
  • Responsible for retention of existing Cyber clients and increasing market share and growing client portfolios
  • Build close business relationships with clients and prospects at new markets
  • Build close business relationships with all relevant (re)insurers for Financial Specialties
  • Provide insurance financial specialties technical support to the FS team and other Aon colleagues as required
  • Identify client needs and requirements and tailor insurance solutions to meet clients needs
  • To work closely with Head of FSPG to drive strategies and growth
  • Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time

Deliver Financial & Business Growth Objectives

  • Focus on increasing existing market share and driving growth on Cyber Risks primarily year on year
  • Work closely with Sales team, Business Heads, Cluster Heads in creating value to initiate client conversations and client acquisition strategies
  • Meet Sales Effectiveness KPIs by ensuring compliance in the areas of Aon Connect metrics, Sales Process & Branding and LMPs.
  • Drive efficient use of Aon Connect as the single tool for new business pipeline management and financial forecasting.

Client Management / Satisfaction

  • Drive & meet client service, claims management & advocacy on existing clientele and new client acquisitions objectives
  • Develop growth and expansion on existing client's portfolio
  • Provide risk advisory and consultancy to existing clients and prospects/new clients relating to Cyber.
  • Identifying client needs and requirements and tailor insurance business solutions to client's needs
  • Contributing to material insights, collaterals, whitepaper in FSPG and Cyber solutions.
  • Build broking & placement strategies with Carriers/Insurers
  • Work with Insurers on tailored insurance solutions as client's advocate

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • At least 5 years of experience in cyber and/or financial lines insurance (or relevant adjacent professions, including law and risk consulting).
  • Strong technical skills around insurance policy interpretation and drafting and/or cyber risk.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with country and specialty colleagues as well as clients and insurers.
  • Sensitivity to and awareness of cultural differences and able to adapt accordingly
  • Any Cyber related certification will be beneficial.
