Job Description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

  • Drive sustainable business growth by proactively sourcing, evaluating, and securing new investment and development opportunities aligned with TRXC's strategic direction.
  • Lead the transition of investment initiatives from conceptual and development stages into full execution, ensuring seamless planning, coordination, and delivery.
  • Uphold strong governance and internal controls by ensuring all processes, frameworks, and approvals are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support cross-functional priorities and strategic initiatives to achieve TRXC's approved short-, medium-, and long-term corporate goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Identify, screen, and evaluate potential business development and investment prospects, ensuring alignment with TRXC's strategic focus and financial objectives.
  • Monitor, analyse, and interpret market trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and broader industry developments to inform decision-making and opportunity mapping.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersincluding agents, lenders, prospects, investors, and regulatory authoritiesto support lead generation, partnership development, and deal flow.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental inputs (Legal, Finance, Corporate Planning, Development, etc.) to support the development of robust business cases and investment proposals.

Commercialization

  • Conduct comprehensive market studies, financial analysis, and due diligence to support investment considerations, identify risks, and evaluate commercial viability.
  • Develop and refine business models, feasibility assessments, and risk analyses to support management's strategic decision-making and investment approval processes.
  • Lead, support, or participate in negotiations on key commercial terms with counterparties, ensuring alignment with TRXC's commercial interests and risk appetite.
  • Prepare, review, and present investment proposals, commercial papers, and supporting documentation to management and relevant committees for endorsement and approval.
  • Oversee the transition of approved opportunities into execution, ensuring commercial terms are accurately reflected in agreements and implementation plans.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MBA preferred.
  • University or master's degree in economics, finance, business or similar.
  • Minimum 10-15 years solid hands-on experience in strategy projects, business development, deals, M&As, property development / infrastructure projects or similar.
  • High level of integrity, ability to multi-task, result-oriented, strong analytical skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
