As Head of Organisational Effectiveness & Rewards, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Corporation's people agenda, driving organisational transformation, and strengthening workforce effectiveness to support strategic priorities.
Job Responsibilities
A. Strategic
- Responsible for formulating a comprehensive talent acquisition, organisational effectiveness and rewards strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and culture of the organisation.
- Define and foster a culture of innovation across the division to enhance competitiveness in achieving strategic business goals and growth priorities.
- Establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to strategise, define, and ensure effective implementation of strategies.
- Ensure the development of a competent and high-performance workforce, including successors and future leaders within the division.
- Ensure the compliance of legislation and statutory requirements set by Bank Negara Malaysia and relevant statutory bodies in accordance with the best corporate governance.
b) Strategic
- Provide oversight on the overall recruitment strategies to attract top talent, enhance the candidate experience, and ensure the organisation has a diverse and high-performing workforce.
- Take accountability for driving initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, encompassing areas such as organisational design, workforce strategy, manpower planning, and Human Capital policy.
- Strategically develop and design a performance strategy for the corporation that focuses on attracting, engaging, and retaining employees.
- Provide overall direction on the establishment of Compensation and Benefits framework, strategy, policies and processes based on leading practice and trends.
- Oversee development and review of salary structures and scales and policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation, including salary reviews, merit increases, etc.
- Ensure optimal utilisation of Human Capital budget allocation to achieve the best outcome for the company and ensure revenue targets are met.
- Provide management oversight on the development and implementation of HC strategic initiatives that align with the organisation's goals, enhance employee engagement, and drive organisational effectiveness.
- Offer strategic guidance and insights for the development and alignment of human capital policies and strategies with the organisation's overarching objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of reporting systems and processes that deliver crucial insights and data to facilitate informed decision-making and advance strategic HR initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in HR, with a focus on organisational effectiveness, rewards, and compensation.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
- Familiarity with performance management systems and talent development strategies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure impact.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and experience in leading and managing teams.
