Role Description

We're looking for a marketing-drivenVideo Editor & Videographer (Creative Strategist)to take charge of producing compelling, conversion-focused ad creatives for our e-commerce brands.

This role is perfect for a visual storyteller who can balance creativity with performance marketing strategy. You'll conceptualize, shoot, and edit video contentspecifically Meta adsthat capture attention, drive clicks, and scale revenue.

Working closely with our marketing team and viewing your work through a marketing lens, you'll use data insights to craft multiple ad variations, refine creative hooks, and push the boundaries of direct-response advertising. If you're equal parts creative strategist and hands-on content creator, this role is made for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Strategy: Develop video ad concepts tailored for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with a strong emphasis on performance marketing.
  • Videography: Plan, film, and direct shootswhether in-studio, outdoors, or product-focusedto capture high-quality, engaging visuals.
  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, high-performing ads (Reels, Stories, UGC-style, long-form cutdowns).
  • Ad Variation & Testing: Produce multiple ad versions optimized for A/B testing and scaling winning creatives.
  • Storytelling with Hooks: Identify and create strong opening hooks that maximize watch time and click-through rates.
  • Data-Driven Creativity: Collaborate with the performance marketing team to analyze ad performance and iterate future content.
  • Trendspotting: Stay ahead of industry and platform trends to keep creatives fresh, engaging, and competitive.
  • Content Repurposing: Adapt and reformat existing footage into new creative assets to maximize asset lifespan.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with brand, creative, and marketing teams to align content with campaign goals.
  • Other ad-hoc creative tasks that help the company succeed.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves):

  • High Achiever Mindset Strong academic performance (e.g. excellent high school/university results, competition wins, scholarships, or Dean's List recognition).
  • Relevant Education BA/BSc in creative or related fields (e.g. Media, Communications, Film).
  • Strong Work Ethic You take ownership, deliver results, and hold yourself to high standards.
  • Proven experience invideography and video editing(portfolio/demo reel required).
  • Desire to learn aboutdirect-response advertisingand performance marketing.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (Premiere Pro preferred).
