Video Production Intern (3 to 6-Month Paid Internship)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia (Hybrid, 3-4 days on site per week)

Allowance: RM 1,000/month

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3-6 months

Possibility to grow into a full-time staff position

About DocuSphere

DocuSphere is a KL-based video production company creating impactful documentaries for European TV networks, alongside corporate content and social media videos for brands across Southeast Asia. We focus on strong storytelling, visual quality, and meaningful content — always with a creative and international approach.

Now, we're looking for a motivated intern who wants to learn hands-on about video production, post-production, and digital storytelling.

Your Role

This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want real-world experience in the field of video production. You'll support our founder and team on turning raw material into watchable, engaging content.

You'll gain insight into:

• What it takes to plan and shoot documentaries
• How to edit for social media and broadcast
• The day-to-day workflow of a modern video production company

Your Tasks

• Assist during on-location shoots (equipment prep, logistics, BTS filming)
• Support in basic editing tasks (subtitles, trimming clips, social media cuts)
• Help manage footage, project files, and simple graphic elements
• Occasionally, help with content planning, research, or social media

You Should Be...

• A student or recent graduate in media, film, communications, or similar
• Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro (basic level is fine) & CapCut (basics)
• Comfortable in English
• Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
• Able to bring your own laptop with basic editing software installed
• Interested in documentaries, storytelling, and real-world field work
