Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vietnam Smart Home Appliances GTM Specialist to support the end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution for our smart home appliances in the Vietnam market. This position will sign an employment contract with a local distributor in Vietnam, while all work content will be dedicated to serving Dreame Technology (追觅科技). The cooperation model between Dreame Technology and the local distributor is a strategic partnership focusing on localized market development and efficient execution, specifically designed to promote the penetration and growth of Dreame's smart home appliances in the Vietnam market. Specifically, Dreame Technology, as the brand owner and product provider, is responsible for formulating global product strategies, providing high-quality smart home appliance products, and offering professional support in product technology, brand positioning, global GTM guidelines, and marketing resources—including support for localized marketing activities such as offline experience store construction and social media promotion, which aligns with Dreame's global multi-channel content marketing model. The local agent company, leveraging its profound understanding of the Vietnam market, mature local resources, and rich channel networks (including retail and e-commerce channels), undertakes the localized operation and execution work, including but not limited to local market development, channel expansion, customer connection, and the deployment of localized GTM initiatives. As a key member of the commercial team supporting Dreame Technology, you will work closely with the GTM Manager and cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales, customer success) of Dreame Technology to drive product adoption, market penetration, and sales growth specifically in Vietnam. You will assist in managing the GTM lifecycle—from market research and strategy refinement to launch execution and post-launch optimization—ensuring Dreame Technology's smart home appliances resonate with Vietnamese target audiences and gain competitive advantage in the local market, while coordinating with the local agent company to ensure the smooth implementation of cooperative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing localized GTM strategies for smart home appliances in Vietnam, including market positioning, target user personas, value propositions, channel plans, and launch timelines, aligned with global guidelines.
- Conduct in-depth local market research and competitive analysis (focusing on Vietnam's smart home appliance industry) to identify market opportunities, consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive trends; summarize insights to support GTM strategy adjustment.
- Support cross-functional collaboration, coordinating with product, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent understanding of product value, local market demands, and launch objectives; assist in resolving collaboration barriers to ensure smooth execution of GTM initiatives.
- Assist in planning and executing localized product launch activities (online/offline) for smart home appliances in Vietnam, such as social media campaigns, retail promotions, and partner events, to build market awareness and drive initial adoption.
- Support post-launch product lifecycle management: monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, customer feedback, and channel performance in Vietnam; collect and analyze data to identify optimization opportunities for GTM tactics.
- Collaborate closely with local sales teams and channel partners to provide GTM support, including developing simple training materials, sharing product value propositions, and assisting in implementing channel incentive policies to drive sales.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining GTM performance records for Vietnam market, participate in regular review meetings, summarize execution results, and propose improvement suggestions to optimize local GTM processes.
- Stay updated on Vietnam's smart home appliance market dynamics, consumer preferences, and regulatory changes, and timely feed back relevant information to the GTM Manager to support strategy adjustment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in go-to-market (GTM), product marketing, or sales support roles, with a focus on the Vietnam market; experience in smart home appliances, consumer electronics, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Familiar with Vietnam's consumer market, especially smart home appliance industry trends, local channels (e.g., retail, e-commerce platforms), and consumer preferences; experience in supporting product launch or market expansion in Vietnam is a plus.
- Basic understanding of GTM processes and marketing principles; familiarity with smart home products (e.g., smart air conditioners, smart refrigerators, smart lighting) is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Good analytical and data processing skills: ability to collect and analyze local market data, summarize key insights, and support GTM decision-making; proficiency in basic Excel operations is required.
- Strong execution and coordination skills: able to assist in managing GTM tasks, coordinate with cross-functional teams and local partners, and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners; fluent in English (both written and spoken) and Vietnamese (native or proficient) as working languages.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven: able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, take initiative to solve problems, and focus on achieving local GTM goals.
- Deep understanding of Vietnamese consumer needs and cultural nuances, able to assist in adapting global GTM strategies to local market characteristics.
