About the Role:
We are Workplace Technology specialist to oversee and manage the technical aspects of our modern desktop solutions. In this global role, you will act as the primary point of contact for the region, balancing day-to-day operational excellence with strategic service improvements.
If you have recently built a business case for a Windows 365 migration and possess deep technical solutioning expertise in both Microsoft and Citrix virtualization environments, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead virtualization technical solutioning, support, and strategy, including developing business cases for technology transformations such as Windows 365 migrations.
- Oversee the daily technical management of Citrix Virtualization Desktop Infrastructure, Microsoft Windows 365, Cloud PCs, and Virtualization Image releases.
- Act as the single point of contact for Global End User Services in the region, managing queries, operational escalations, and technology change transitions.
- Manage relationships with Microsoft, outsourced providers, and System Integrators to ensure SLA adherence and drive Service Improvement Plans.
- Ensure all solutions, releases, and modern workplace endpoints adhere to global IT standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in virtualization desktop environments across both Windows 365 and Citrix platforms.
- Proven track record in technology transformation, service delivery management, and migration planning, including direct experience with Windows 365 migrations.
- In-depth technical proficiency with the Microsoft 365 platform, Teams, Intune Core Capabilities, Windows 10/11, and Modern Workplace management.
- Experience in a large global organization managing in-sourced and out-sourced IT services, with a strong grasp of ITIL processes.
- Strong leadership ability to unite cross-functional teams (business analysts, technical experts), coupled with analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
Beneficial Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Intune, Azure certifications, or ITIL frameworks.
- Experience in project management overseeing global deployment projects and infrastructure upgrades.
