Job Title: Video Editor / Visual Effects (VFX) Artist (Fresh/Entry Level)
Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Video Editor / Visual Effects Artist located in Cyberjaya. As a Video Editor / Visual Effects Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video using industry-standard tools, adding basic effects, enhancing lighting and compositing for animations or cinematic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into high-quality video content for social media, presentations, marketing campaigns and other platforms
- Add basic effects, transitions, music, and titles using editing software
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver creative outputs
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Degree in Multimedia, Animation, Visual Effects or related field
- Portfolio or sample of past video editing and/or visual effects works (class projects, personal videos, etc.)
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar
- Knowledge of motion graphics, compositing, and color grading
- Basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
