Responsible for developing and executing visual merchandising strategies to enhance a brands image, increase sales, and create an engaging shopping experience. This role typically involves creative and strategic responsibilities.
Job Scope :
1. Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement visual merchandising strategy in line with brand identity.
Plan and execute store layouts and product presentations.
Ensure consistency in store aesthetics across multiple locations.
Collaborate with brand, marketing and sales teams to align visuals with promotions and campaigns.
2. Store Display Management
Design seasonal and promotional displays.
Create eye-catching, innovative visual concepts to drive foot traffic.
Coordinate with store teams to ensure proper execution of visual standards.
Regularly update displays to keep them fresh and relevant.
3. Product Placement & Sales Optimization
Analyze customer shopping behavior and trends to optimize product placement.
Implement strategies to maximize sales through effective visual merchandising.
Ensure high-traffic areas showcase key products and promotions.
Monitor and adjust visual displays based on sales performance.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with brand, marketing, and retail operations teams.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for props, mannequins, and display materials.
Train and guide in-store staff on visual merchandising execution.
5. Market Research & Trend Analysis
Stay updated on the latest visual merchandising trends and industry best practices.
Conduct competitor analysis to ensure the brand remains competitive.
Experiment with new display techniques and materials.
6. Budget & Inventory Management
Propose for in store visuals, props, and installations.
Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality displays.
Track and manage inventory of display materials.
7. Visual Merchandising Training & Standards
Develop and implement training programs for in-store teams.
Conduct store visits and audits to ensure compliance with VM guidelines.
Provide feedback and improvement plans for store teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Strong sense of design, color, and aesthetics.
Experience in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
knowledgeable in design software ( adobe illustrator, photoshop etc)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
