About the Role
The Visual Merchandising Intern will support the design and execution of in-store visual merchandising initiatives across KENS Apothecary retail outlets. This role provides hands-on exposure to retail design implementation, store setup, and brand visual consistency, working closely with the design and operations team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of visual merchandising displays for retail stores
- Support store layout planning, window displays, and in-store visual arrangements in accordance with brand guidelines
- Participate in site visits, store setups, and visual refreshes
- Assist in preparing visual presentation materials, mock-ups, and basic design layouts
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during store setup and maintenance
- Support documentation of visual merchandising standards and completed setups
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in any design-related field (e.g. Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related disciplines)
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel for site visits
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of 3ds Max or other 3D visualisation software will be an added advantage

- Good eye for detail, aesthetics, and spatial arrangement
- Willingness to learn, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
