The role is responsible for driving in-store merchandising excellence, ensuring optimal product placement and store layouts to maximize sales and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement in-store planograms and displays to optimize layouts, promotions, and merchandising, maximizing sales and category profitability.
- Evaluate store layout and product placement effectiveness, making adjustments and recommendations to enhance sales performance.
- Monitor sales and inventory performance, recommending shelf-space adjustments, stock reallocation, replenishment, or markdowns as needed.
- Conduct regular range reviews by store, proposing new product listings and delisting underperforming items.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and store frontliners on promotions and sales forecasts for all stores.
- Stay updated on market trends and best practices in marketing, consistently making recommendations to management for improvements.
- Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, or equivalent.
- At least with 67 years of relevant work experience in merchandising, retail, or related fields.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret sales, performance metrics, and feedback for actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge of merchandising practices and retail operations.
- Proven track record in achieving KPIs and driving business results.
- Willing to travel and must possess own vehicle for work-related travel.
