Role Overview
Omnicom Media is seeking a Designer based in Malaysia to support the development of high-impact, visually compelling presentations and design materials across the Asia-Pacific region.
This role is ideal for a designer who combines strong visual craft with business storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to use modern design platforms and AI tools to create sharper, faster, and more engaging presentation materials.
The Designer will play an important role in supporting client pitches, business reviews, strategy decks, internal communications, executive storytelling, and regional new business activity.
Key Responsibilities
The Designer will be responsible for designing, formatting, and elevating presentations and visual assets, ensuring all work is visually engaging, brand-aligned, accurate, and suitable for senior client and stakeholder audiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and produce high-quality presentations across PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, and Canva for client pitches, business reviews, strategy decks, workshops, and internal communications.
- Use AI tools to support presentation development, including concept generation, slide structure, content refinement, visual storytelling, image generation, data visualisation, and layout exploration.
- Translate complex media, marketing, data, and strategy content into clear, persuasive visual narratives.
- Work closely with strategy, client leadership, new business, marketing, and regional teams to understand objectives and create compelling presentation materials.
- Ensure consistency with Omnicom Media and client brand guidelines across all presentation platforms.
- Create visual systems, templates, icons, diagrams, charts, infographics, and slide layouts that improve clarity and impact.
- Develop and maintain presentation templates and reusable design assets in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Canva.
- Support APAC new business and pitch activity with fast-turnaround, premium-quality presentation design.
- Refine existing decks by improving structure, hierarchy, layout, typography, imagery, and overall storytelling flow.
- Experiment with emerging AI-enabled creative and productivity tools to improve speed, quality, consistency, and impact of presentation outputs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple APAC markets and time zones.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, consistency, attention to detail, and responsible use of AI across all deliverables.
- Help build best-practice presentation guidelines, including guidance on effective AI usage, brand consistency, and visual storytelling.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual communications, or a related creative role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong working knowledge of Canva, with the ability to create branded templates, layouts, and reusable design systems.
- Experience with Google Slides, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, is highly desirable.
- Confident using AI tools to support presentation development, such as content ideation, slide outlining, image generation, layout options, summarisation, copy refinement, and data-to-visual storytelling.
- Excellent layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and information design skills.
- Ability to simplify complex content and turn it into clear, engaging visual storytelling.
- Experience working on pitch decks, client presentations, strategy decks, or executive communications.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to adapt design across multiple brands, platforms, and markets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.
- High attention to detail, especially around formatting, consistency, spelling, alignment, and data presentation.
- Experience working with regional or global teams is preferred.
- Media, advertising, marketing, consulting, or agency experience would be advantageous.

- Use AI to accelerate first drafts, presentation structures, content summaries, and messaging frameworks.
- Generate visual concepts, moodboards, image directions, slide design routes, and layout territories.
- Improve clarity, concision, and storytelling flow in presentation content.
- Turn complex information into simple visual frameworks, charts, diagrams, and executive-ready slides.
- Apply responsible AI practices, including checking accuracy, avoiding over-reliance on generated content, respecting confidentiality, and ensuring outputs meet brand and client standards.

This role is based in Malaysia and will support Omnicom Media teams and stakeholders across APAC.
