Warehouse Coordinator

Main Purpose of the Role

This position reports to the Supply Chain Operations Manager and is responsible for coordinating and controlling daily warehouse operations to ensure:

• Accurate inventory management
• Efficient order fulfillment
• Compliance with safety and quality standards
• Timely inbound and outbound activities

The role is also responsible for ensuring all Good Returns and Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are monitored while maintaining a strong focus on KPI performance, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Key Accountabilities and Business Priorities

Transportation & Warehouse

• Work with 3PL providers to coordinate trucking and sailing transportation requirements to ensure timely delivery of shipments to customers.
• Optimize transportation planning by combining delivery orders to maximize truck utilization and cost efficiency.
• Monitor 3PL daily delivery reports and manage delivery confirmations.
• Coordinate warehouse loading, unloading, and other warehouse control activities with 3PL providers.
• Monitor stock movements and maintain stock accuracy within the warehouse.
• Identify inventory discrepancies with 3PL providers and take prompt corrective actions.
• Manage effective customer collaboration programs with both internal and external customers.
• Benchmark market best practices related to warehousing, inventory, and transportation, and translate them into improvement initiatives.
• Interface with 3PL providers and key customers, including:
• Managing customer delivery requirements
• Handling customer complaints
• Managing product rejections

Key Performance Management

• Monitor and manage transporter and service provider performance against agreed KPIs.
• Follow up on service failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with service provider performance standards.
• Maintain data accuracy to support reporting, billing, and performance measurement.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

• Degree qualification is desirable.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, transport, or logistics operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
