Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure the safe, accurate and efficient flow of raw materials, packaging and finished goods while developing a high-performing team and supporting production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily goods-in, storage, picking, kitting and dispatch activities to meet production and customer schedules.
• Manage, coach and develop the warehouse team, setting clear priorities and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory through effective stock control, cycle counts and investigation of discrepancies.
• Optimise warehouse layout, capacity, labour and material flow to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant quality standards.
• Use warehouse management or ERP systems to monitor transactions, stock levels and operational KPIs.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics teams to resolve issues and prevent disruption.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain clear standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant warehouse experience, including warehouse management or senior supervisory experience within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a busy, operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control and warehouse best practices.
• Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems; SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of workplace health, safety and risk management.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift or materials-handling certification is desirable.
