Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Manage and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and productivity
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and on-time delivery
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., transportation, customer service, procurement) to ensure smooth operations
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
- Manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure data accuracy
- Handle escalations, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee budget control, cost management, and resource planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) knowledge of automation/ASRS is an advantage
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and stakehol der management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
