Job Description:
Asset Planning & Deployment:
- Maintain accurate inventory of all operational assets across fulfilment warehouses.
- Coordinate deployment, retrieval, and redistribution of assets based on volume trends and operational forecasts.
- Support capacity planning by ensuring assets are available ahead of peak periods and ensure sufficient spaces are available at each warehouse to store asset stock.
Lifecycle & Maintenance Management:
- Track asset conditions, breakage rates, and repair needs ensure timely maintenance or replacement.
- Work with vendors to manage repairs, warranty claims, spare parts, and SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with asset handling SOPs at all sites.
Process & Cost Control:
- Monitor utilization rates and flag underused, misplaced, or idle assets.
- Support cost analysis for purchasing, repairing, and replacing assets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize asset lifespan and reduce operational costs.
Data & Reporting:
- Maintain asset database and dashboard.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on asset movement, stock levels, repair status, and budget usage.
- Analyze trends to propose improvements in allocation and maintenance processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Corporate IT, and vendors for asset requirements.
- Manage external vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality, and adherence to contracts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or asset/equipment management preferred.
- Strong Excel skills: familiarity with SQL or data dashboards is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
