Warehouse Specialist (Marine / Offshore & Subsea Operations)

We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Specialist with experience supporting marine, offshore, or subsea operations. This role is responsible for managing high-value hydrographic survey equipment, subsea tools, and technical assets used in offshore and onshore survey projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring all equipment is properly stored, tracked, calibrated, and fully ready for offshore mobilization and deployment.
This position involves close coordination with offshore teams, vessels, ports, freight forwarders, and technical personnels to ensure smooth and timely execution of survey operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Receive, inspect, label, and store subsea, hydrographic survey, and offshore-related equipment, tools, and spare parts.
- Prepare, pick, pack, and stage equipment for offshore mobilization, vessel deployment, and project execution.
- Manage issuance and return of offshore survey equipment including tracking serial numbers, asset tags, and usage history.
- Maintain accurate asset register for hydrographic systems including GNSS, sensors, motion reference units, and data acquisition systems.
- Support mobilization and demobilization activities including container packing, checklists, and offshore readiness verification.
- Coordinate logistics for equipment movement to vessels, ports, shipyards and offshore project sites (local and international).
- Work closely with freight forwarders, vessel coordinators, and offshore teams to ensure timely and safe delivery of equipment.
- Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits for marine equipment, survey systems, and critical spares.
- Monitor calibration, servicing, and maintenance schedules for offshore survey equipment and ensure compliance.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety standards, SOPs, and proper handling of sensitive offshore instruments.
- Perform corporate administrative tasks as required.
What you should have:
- Diploma or Degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, Surveying, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical warehouse, offshore, subsea, telecom, or survey equipment operations.
- Experience in hydrographic or geophysical survey equipment handling is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory, asset management, and equipment tracking processes.
- Familiarity with offshore mobilization/demobilization and project logistics workflows.
- Knowledge of shipping, freight documentation, and equipment transportation processes is an advantage.
- Experience with barcode scanning systems or inventory management software is preferred.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and planning skills with high attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to support warehouse, field, and offshore-related operational environments.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and support urgent offshore project mobilizations.
Salary: RM 6000 – RM 8000
