Wastewater Treatment Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise WWTP / IETS to ensure continuous and compliant operation
• Monitor plant performance, wastewater flow, sludge handling, and chemical dosing
• Review lab results (pH, COD, BOD, TSS, oil & grease) and ensure compliance with standards
• Coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance of plant equipment
• Oversee Scheduled Waste handling and disposal with licensed contractors
• Maintain accurate operation logs, reports, and compliance records (including eSWIS)
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
• Supervise and train operators and ensure safe work practices
• Drive improvement and process optimization activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in related technical field
• Must have valid DOE Competent Person certification (CePIETSO required)
• PCP certification and Boilerman (BP) Certificate are added advantages
• 35 years experience in industrial WWTP / IETS operations, supervisory exposure preferred
• Good knowledge of DOE regulations and effluent standards
• Able to work independently and handle shift duties if required
