About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Web Chapter Lead to drive the technical strategy and engineering excellence across a portfolio of 55 enterprise websites and a mission-critical Agent Portal.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping frontend architecture, establishing engineering standards, driving AI-assisted software delivery, and leading a global frontend engineering team.
This role is ideal for a senior engineering leader with deep expertise in Angular, Nx Monorepo, and frontend architecture, alongside experience integrating with ASP.NET Core APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term web engineering roadmap.
- Lead a global frontend engineering team of approximately 12–15 engineers and web designers through coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership.
- Architect and govern an Nx Monorepo supporting 55+ enterprise websites.
- Establish reusable Angular component libraries, coding standards, and CI/CD best practices.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering practices using tools such as Claude.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate Angular applications with ASP.NET Core middleware through secure and scalable APIs.
- Lead the evolution of a high-traffic Agent Portal.
- Improve SEO, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), Core Web Vitals, and overall web performance.
- Standardize engineering governance through architecture reviews and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Requirements
- 8+ years of web engineering experience.
- Minimum 3 years in an Engineering Manager, Chapter Lead, Technical Lead, or Architect role.
- Expert-level Angular experience in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Nx Monorepo.
- Experience integrating Angular applications with ASP.NET Core APIs.
- Experience managing large frontend engineering teams (12–15 people), including mentoring web designers on SEO best practices.
- Proven experience managing large-scale multi-site web platforms (30+ websites).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, reusable component libraries, and frontend architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
