Web Chapter Lead

Key Focus Areas

• Strategy & Leadership: Define a multi-year technology roadmap, align with business goals, and build a high-performing engineering chapter.
• AI-Augmented Development: Lead adoption of AI tools (Claude) for faster delivery, intelligent search, content generation, and automated testing.
• Monorepo Architecture: Govern Nx-based monorepo strategy to unify Angular sites under shared libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and design tokens.
• .NET Middleware: Set standards for API aggregation, authentication, and backend-for-frontend logic.
• Agent Portal Ownership: Ensure enterprise-grade performance, security, and accessibility for the high-traffic portal.
• Engineering Excellence: Enforce standards for code quality, testing, observability, accessibility, and performance (Core Web Vitals).

Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years in web engineering, with 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Expert in Angular (enterprise, multi-site context) and ASP.NET Core middleware.
• Strong experience with Nx monorepo, AI integration, and portal/platform architecture.
• Advantageous: insurance/financial services background, headless CMS, Angular Universal, Module Federation, Azure certifications.

Success Metrics (First 12 Months)

• Nx monorepo foundation by Month 3.
• Angular + .NET standards published by Month 3.
• AI tooling adopted by 80%+ of chapter by Month 4.
• Agent Portal v2 roadmap by Month 6.
• Unified CI/CD pipeline across 50+ sites by Month 9.
• Core Web Vitals green across top 20 sites by Month 12.
