Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive web dashboards for monitoring factory operations using D3.js for maps and data visualization.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Framework (C# 4.8) and ASP.NET Core 8+.
- Implement responsive front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
- Integrate WebSocket communication for real-time updates from AGV systems and other connected IoT devices.
- Perform MySQL database design, optimization, and querying to support dashboard data operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and automation teams to understand data flow, user requirements, and deployment environments.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance optimization of developed solutions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ECE, or a relevant background.
- 47 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong in D3.js for creating custom and interactive charts/graphs and maps or another relevant library/ class on the map and chart.
- Proficient in ASP.NET Framework (C# 4.8) and ASP.NET Core 8+ for building secure and scalable backend services.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript for developing modern and responsive user interfaces.
- WebSocket communication for real-time data exchange.
- MySQL including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Digital Twin or IoT/Smart Factory projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git), Agile development, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice to have experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of industrial automation, AGV systems, or sensor data handling.
- Understanding of security best practices for industrial web applications.
- Work location: Onsite Penang
- Prefer local candidates or EP holders in Malaysia
Good-to-Have Skills
- React.js or Angular for scalable frontend architecture.
- RESTful API design for interfacing with AGV control systems and databases.
- MQTT for real-time messaging and telemetry.
- Azure or AWS experience for hosting and scaling the dashboard.
