About your new role!
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Website & SEO Intern to support our SEO and website delivery team across a portfolio of regional clients. This internship is ideal for someone who is curious about how websites perform, how users find brands through search, and how technical and content improvements can drive measurable growth.
You will work closely with SEO specialists, content teams, developers and account teams to support website updates, SEO implementation, reporting and quality assurance. This role is a strong opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to digital marketing, website management and search optimisation in a fast-paced agency environment.
What You'll Do
Website Support
- Assist with day-to-day website updates including page edits, metadata uploads, internal linking updates and content publishing across CMS platforms.
- Support QA checks before and after website changes to ensure pages are live, accurate and functioning as expected.
- Help maintain website hygiene by reviewing broken links, redirects, image issues, formatting inconsistencies and outdated pages.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure website tasks are completed on time and aligned with campaign or content priorities.
SEO Support
- Assist with basic keyword research, competitor reviews and SERP observations to support SEO planning.
- Help optimise on-page elements including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, URLs and image alt text.
- Support technical SEO checks such as crawl reviews, indexation reviews, sitemap checks and internal linking analysis.
- Assist with content optimisation tasks by aligning pages to target keywords and search intent.
- Help identify opportunities to improve organic visibility across client websites.
Reporting & Analysis
- Support the preparation of regular SEO and website performance reports.
- Assist in pulling data from tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO platforms.
- Help monitor rankings, traffic trends, page performance and technical issues.
- Contribute to dashboards, trackers and working documents used by the team.
What We'd Love To See From You
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or a related field, or currently pursuing one.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, websites, SEO and user experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, documents and online tools.
- Basic understanding of how websites work, including page structure, navigation and content management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a structured, organised way.
Nice to have
- Exposure to CMS platforms
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console or Looker Studio.
- Basic knowledge of SEO concepts such as keywords, metadata, internal linking and technical SEO.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Previous internship, coursework or personal project experience in digital marketing or website management.
