About the Role
- As a Weekend EQ Educator, you will work with children aged 7–12 using Brainbow's structured EQ curriculum.
- This role is ideal for educators who can commit consistently to both Saturday and Sunday and who value depth over entertainment.
- Training, lesson structure, and support are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate EQ classes using Brainbow's curriculum
- Prepare materials and review lesson plans before class
- Create a calm, emotionally safe classroom environment
- Support children's emotional awareness, regulation, and social skills
- Lead simple art, storytelling, and play-based learning activities
- Work collaboratively with the Brainbow team
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and consistency
Who We're Looking For
- Able to commit every working hours (non-negotiable)
- Emotionally regulated, and steady with children
- Responsible, reliable, and consistent in attendance
- Communicates clearly in English
- Open to learning Brainbow's EQ approach
- Enjoys working with children beyond fun activities
Who This Role Is NOT For
- Those looking for flexible, ad-hoc, or occasional weekend work
- Applicants unable to commit long-term (1 year at least)
- Individuals who frequently cancel or swap shifts
Preferred Background (Not Mandatory)
Education, Early Childhood, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, Coaching, or Enrichment Teaching.
Working Hours
Friday 6pm-9.30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: USJ Taipan, Subang Jaya (in-person)
