Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Senai. The Welder will perform daily welding tasks on various metal components and structures, following technical drawings, welding procedures, and safety standards. Responsibilities include setting up and operating welding equipment, preparing and positioning materials, and selecting appropriate welding techniques for each job. The role also involves inspecting welds for quality, performing basic maintenance on tools and equipment, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production and project timelines. The Welder is expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all company and regulatory safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong general Welding skills and experience working with different metal components and fabrication tasks.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Arc Welding and TIG Welding for a range of industrial applications.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals, welding compatibility, and appropriate filler materials.
• Relevant welding certification or vocational training (e.g., accredited welding courses or trade qualification) is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and adherence to procedures and regulations.
• Previous experience in industrial, fabrication, or workshop environments, ideally within sectors such as Oil and Gas or Power Generation, is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.
