Description
As a
Well Control / HPHT Specialist (Offshore Drilling Rig), you will play a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and technically sound well operations in a high-risk offshore drilling environment. You will be directly integrated into the
Production field.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Monitor well control and HPHT-related operations to help ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support during drilling activities, with a focus on managing well integrity and pressure-related challenges.
- Assess operational conditions and contribute to the identification and mitigation of well control risks.
- Support the rig team in applying procedures, standards, and best practices related to HPHT and well control.
- Participate in operational reviews, incident prevention activities, and continuous improvement actions.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of offshore operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years total technical experience within the last 15 years, working directly with HPHT well control equipment
- Minimum 5 years dedicated experience specifically in third-party rig well control and HPHT inspections or compliance audits.
- Must have successfully performed at least 3 HPHT readiness surveys and 3 comprehensive BOP/well control audits within the last 5 years.
- Minimum 10 years total technical experience working directly with HPHT well control equipment
- Minimum 5 years dedicated experience specifically in third-party rig well control and HPHT inspections or compliance audits.
