Why does this job exist and why is it critical
Wholesale Account Manager is responsible on both GSM and FNW total billings revenues and new contracts; Manage a set of customers assigned for the year – renewal of contracts, finding new opportunities for yearly incremental business; Create, Build, Enhance and maintain customer relationship Business development activities i.e. new customers and project based activities on ad hoc basic for existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and formulate strategic and tactical plans in a bigger market portfolio. Ensure KPI and goals of the assigned accounts in the portfolio are met.
- Build market position in the assigned account by identifying potential business deals and closing relationship with existing and new customers.
- Develop and formulate retention strategy to minimize churn rate of the portfolio of accounts.
- Provide and screen data/information for potential business deals by analysing market strategy, examining risks and financial accuracy for business decision making.
- Provide excellent service to Company PIC to ensure maximized customer satisfaction.
- Assist collection team on customers aging.
Ensure pipeline in CRM are diligently updated – consistently putting new opportunities week on week AND progressing the opportunity sales motion from creation to closing.
- Develop comprehensive Account plans for all assigned customers.
Orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional Maxis team and customers.
- Keeping track of all post sales activities with timely delivery.
Working closely with Solution Channels Manager and Identifying new solutions for all assigned customers for sustainable account growth.
The Fit
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field of study
- Relevant working experience: 7 to 10 years
- Experience in using CRM
- Excellent solution selling skills.
- Excellent sales performance track record.
- Telco experience is an added advantage.
- Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, A self-starter, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment and A team player.
