Role Overview
We are seeking a Windows System Administrator with 34 years of experience to manage, monitor, and support enterprise systems and network infrastructure. The role focuses on system administration, network operations, and application reliability rather than end-user desktop support.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and health checks.
- Manage network components including routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.
- Troubleshoot system-level, network, and application-related issues.
- Handle user access, identity management, and Active Directory administration.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
- Work on incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal infrastructure, security, and application teams.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Support high availability, backup, and recovery procedures.
Required Skills
- 34 years of experience in System Administration or Network Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Working knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
