Job Descriptions

Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving the escalated incident in Windows Server platforms

-

Escalated the case to L3 Infrastructure/application team if need

-

Perform the regular server operations such as setup, upgrade, patches deployment, monitoring and health checks, backup and restore etc

-

Responsible for system troubleshooting and performance turning.

-

Prepare and maintain technical documentations.

-

Providing support on issues related to servers, hypervisors and storages

-

Liaise with external vendors for IT Server operations and maintenance

Requirements:

-

Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline;

-

Holder of ITIL Foundation or above is a plus

-

>2 years relevant working experiences in Windows Servers, VMware, x86 servers and storage

-

Sizeable company and ITIL experience is preferable

-

Self-motivated, quick learner, Can-do attitude and able to work under pressure

-

Good written and verbal communication skills in English, and Cantonese is a plus

-

Knowing in SAN infrastructure, SiteScope, AD and VMware is a plus

-

Willing to work night shift & and on public holidays

At least have the knowledge on any one item on each section.

SAN infrastructure

IBM DS5020 and EXP520 hardware and software operation include SAN provisioning, storage virtualization, RAID configuration, and SAN sync scripting.

IBM EXP400 (MT:M33-1RX, MT:1733-1RX) include JBOD management, firmware upgrades, and SAN provisioning.

IBM 2498-B24 SAN Switch operation includes SAN zoning, Fibre Channel fabric management, and switch configuration.

Dell MD3620f, MD3820F, MD3200i, and ME4024 hardware include SAN provisioning, iSCSI/Fibre Channel setup, and replication management.

Dell PowerVault MD1000 operation includes direct-attached storage (DAS) configuration and RAID management.

Lenovo S2200 storage operation includes hybrid storage management, SAN provisioning, and iSCSI configuration.

StorageTek L700E and L80 tape library operation include backup integration, tape drive management, and robotic arm troubleshooting.

HPE MSA500 G2 storage operation includes RAID configuration, LUN provisioning, and SAN provisioning.

Fibre Channel switch hardware and software operation include SAN zoning, WWPN management, and SAN fabric optimization.
