Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Wordpress Developer intern with a strong interest in frontend development. This internship is ideal for fresh graduates or students looking to gain hands-on experience in web development. Proficiency in PHP is highly valued as it will allow you to contribute to the development and customization of WordPress-based websites. As a Wordpress Developer, you will have a key role in the design, implementation, and upkeep of visually appealing and user-friendly web applications.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with the design team to transform UI/UX design wireframes into fully functional web pages using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Create and maintain custom WordPress/Elementor themes and plugins to fulfill project requirements.

- Ensure that applications are responsive and provide seamless user experiences across different devices and browsers.

- Incorporate third-party APIs and libraries to enhance application functionality.

- Identify and resolve issues reported by users in a timely manner.

- Build and manage secure WordPress websites.

- Collaborate with backend developers and designers from various teams to deliver high-quality projects.

- Perform code reviews and actively participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.

- Basic understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.

- Familiarity with WordPress and Elementor is a plus.

- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

- Willingness to learn web development best practices and performance optimization techniques.

- Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) is an advantage.

- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.

- Interest in working with RESTful APIs.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

- Ability to present and explain complex concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong organizational skills, including effective time management, prioritization of tasks in a dynamic work environment.
