Job Title: Workato Developer
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Expectations from the Role
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
• Design, develop, and implement integration and automation solutions using Workato.
• Build and maintain Workato recipes to support business processes and system integrations.
• Integrate enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, SAP, and other systems using Workato connectors and APIs.
• Develop and optimize workflows to ensure efficient and reliable data exchange across systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand integration requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and scalable Workato recipes.
• Configure and customize connectors for applications, databases, and APIs as required.
• Good understanding of Workato utilities, features, and best practices.
• Ensure seamless and accurate data synchronization between integrated systems.
• Implement error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms within Workato recipes.
• Monitor integrations and workflows for failures or performance issues and take corrective actions.
• Support incident resolution and troubleshooting related to integrations.
• Follow security best practices to protect sensitive data within integrations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Provide support for deployed integrations, including after-hours/on-call support as needed.
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements to existing integrations and workflows.
Good-to-Have
• Exposure to Workato Enterprise Architecture frameworks/tools.
• TTH Industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Workato Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of integration concepts and principles.
• Proficient in Workato's automation platform and its capabilities.
• Experience with configuring connectors to various systems, APIs, and databases.
• Solid understanding of security best practices in integration development.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
