zOS Admin

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain z/OS operating systems

Monitor system performance and perform tuning and optimization

Manage system upgrades, patches, and fixes

Handle user access, security, and RACF administration

Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities

Troubleshoot system issues and provide L2/L3 support

Work with JCL, SDSF, TSO/ISPF for daily operations

Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams

Required Skills:

Strong experience in z/OS system administration

Knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF

Experience with RACF security management

Familiarity with IBM utilities and mainframe tools

Understanding of storage management (DASD, tape)

Basic knowledge of networking and system automation
