Malaysia witnessed a 1% decline in online recruitment activity in June 2017, according to the latest Monster Employment Index (MEI)
The IT, Telecom/ISP and BPO/ITES sector reported the steepest growth in online
hiring activity at 32% year-on-year
The Hospitality sector saw the steepest decline at -28% year-on-year
Demands for Software, Hardware, Telecom professionals reported the steepest
annual growth in hiring at 48% year-on-year, while Customer Service talent were
the least in demand at -54% year-on-year
