What can you expect

As an ITS Intern at KPMG Malaysia, you will gain real-world exposure in resolving technical issues, supporting large‑scale deployments, and assisting with key IT operations that keep the firm running efficiently. You will have the opportunity to:

Technical Exposure & Responsibilities

Participate in IT deployment projects and, where required, lead smaller deployments under guidance.
Support project managers or workstream leads in meeting project KPIs and timelines.
Provide day‑to‑day technical support to internal users on hardware and software issues, including virus incidents, application failures, OS issues, and troubleshooting needs.
Assist with the deployment of KPMG standard images, applications, and software across devices.
Report and follow up on hardware incidents with vendors to ensure timely resolution.
Support the maintenance of IT peripherals such as printers, switches, and related network equipment.
Help maintain the firm's asset management database to ensure accurate and updated inventory records.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking motivated, proactive interns who are passionate about building their careers in Information Technology.

Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Experienced Diploma holders or candidates with MCSE or CCNA qualifications are also welcome.
Fresh graduates with strong IT interest are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of LAN infrastructure, system implementations, or troubleshooting is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Independent, motivated, organized, and able to multitask under deadlines.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
