UAT Manual Tester (Banking Domain) – 12-Months Extendable Contract

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 Days per Week)

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

Experience Required: 1+ Years (Junior)/ 2+ (Intermediate)/ 4+ Years (Senior)

We are hiring UAT Manual Testers to support multiple banking technology initiatives across areas such as Payments, Treasury, Loan Origination, Digital Banking, and Core Banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute UAT test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Perform end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and projects.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects until closure.
Prepare testing status reports, defect reports, and test completion documentation.
Support deployment, production verification, and post-implementation testing activities.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in UAT or Manual Testing.
Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services or FinTech or Insurance environments is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of UAT methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
Hands-on experience with JIRA, HP ALM, Confluence, or similar testing tools.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
