Corporate Development Group (CDG) as the platform for the company's new business incubation and new business exploration, CDG is responsible for promoting development and innovation for important areas such as financial technology and advertising, as well as marketing services, including payment and financial applications. As a professional support platform, CDG also supports the company and various business groups in strategic planning, investments and mergers, investor relations and corporate global communications, marketing and public relations, and more.

We are looking for an FX Quantitative Strategy Analyst to support the development and optimization of quantitative FX strategies within our cross-border payments business, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance strategy performance, strengthen the FX platform's data infrastructure, and support business teams with quantitative tools and operational insights.

Responsibilities

1. Quantitative Analysis of FX Strategies

Collect, organize, model, and analyze data accumulated by the FX platform, and identify new strategy opportunities based on data-driven insights.
Quantitatively monitor and evaluate strategies deployed in production, identify underlying patterns and drivers from observed data, and optimize strategy performance under different market and business conditions.

2. Comprehensive Data Management for the FX Platform

Based on strategy and business requirements, leverage available data resources to progressively build and enhance the FX platform's data infrastructure, while taking ownership of data quality.
Understand business requirements and develop data-driven FX customer profiles to support business teams with quantitative tools and operational insights.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Experience in quantitative analysis or quantitative development within a bank or other financial institution.
Strong understanding of financial markets, with keen market insight and the ability to identify meaningful market trends and patterns.
Solid knowledge of classical statistical analysis methods, with strong data analysis and programming skills. Ability to independently conduct the end-to-end data analysis process with the assistance of AI tools.

Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and distill key insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different functions.
Strong sense of ownership, high level of curiosity, and genuine passion for financial markets and quantitative analysis.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with various FX products, trading conventions, and market rules.
Demonstrated experience in successfully developing or optimizing quantitative FX strategies.
Experience in analyzing trading behavior or execution patterns of counterparties.
