Role Description

This part-time Commission Sales Associate role is based in Shah Alam with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home activities. The role focuses on promoting PruBSN's takaful products, engaging prospective and existing customers, and building long-term relationships through professional consultation and follow-ups. Day-to-day tasks include identifying sales opportunities, conducting needs-based product presentations, handling customer inquiries, and guiding customers through the application and onboarding process. The associate is expected to meet sales and service targets, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards. Collaboration with the broader sales team, participation in training sessions, and ongoing product knowledge updates are also key components of the role.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
Sales and negotiation abilities, including prospecting, handling objections, and closing sales in a professional and ethical manner.
Basic digital literacy, including the use of online communication tools, CRM systems, and mobile or web platforms for remote work.
Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple customer accounts, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently in a part-time setting.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, showing initiative and accountability for results.
Comfort with learning financial and takaful concepts; prior experience in insurance, takaful, or financial services is an advantage.
Minimum education at diploma or equivalent level is preferred; fresh graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
