As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving strategic sales growth, developing client solutions, and expanding market presence for PASTI's commercial insurance and GPS-related services. This hybrid role requires both hands on execution and strategic thinking. You will work across departments including finance, operations, insurers and product development to deliver on business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Conduct sales presentations and introduce PASTI's products and services to potential corporate and SME clients.
Follow up with prospects, manage sales leads, and drive opportunities through the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
Prepare sales forecasts and provide regular updates on business development activities.

2. Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential corporate and SME clients.
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable PASTI products and solutions.
Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations based on client needs.
Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth adoption of the PASTI Portal.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements and deliverables are met.

3. Lead Generation & Market Development

Conduct market research to identify potential customers, new market segments, and business opportunities.
Leverage available databases and industry information to generate qualified leads.
Identify under-served market segments and develop suitable approaches to expand PASTI's customer base.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to support business development strategies.

4. Sales Performance & Reporting

Monitor individual sales performance, pipeline progress, and conversion rates.
Analyze sales activities and identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports for the Head of Business Development.
Work closely with the BD team to achieve overall sales objectives.

5. Business & Insurance Partnerships

Identify and establish relationships with potential insurance partners and relevant industry stakeholders.
Maintain good working relationships with existing insurance providers.
Support discussions and coordination with insurance partners on products and service requirements.
Assist the Head of BD in evaluating potential partnerships and new business opportunities.

6. Product & Market Development

Gather feedback from clients and prospects on existing and proposed PASTI products.
Conduct basic market validation for potential expansion into new commercial vehicle segments, such as tankers and lorries.
Identify customer needs and market gaps that may support new product or service opportunities.
Share market feedback and recommendations with the Head of BD and relevant internal teams.
