We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to join our Internal Finance team and support the financial operations of our Malaysia office.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full set of account, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and collections.
Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, and supporting documentation for financial reporting and audits.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with internal stakeholders on collection activities.
Process employee claims, supplier payments, and other finance-related transactions in accordance with company policies.
Assist in the preparation of management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and cash flow reporting.
Support statutory compliance, including SST and other regulatory reporting where applicable.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties during audits and statutory reporting exercises.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable financial regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and month-end closing is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (experience with Business Central or similar ERP systems is an advantage).
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Positive attitude, proactive, and committed to delivering quality work within deadlines.
