Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Development Engineer acts as a crucial operational and strategic architect between marketing insights and active sales execution, driving top-of-funnel lead identification, high-stakes qualification, and market-entry scaling. Functioning as the principal Account Manager for the APAC region, this role owns the end-to-end commercial pipeline—spanning complex client negotiations, structural pricing frameworks, predictive margin engineering, and cross-border specification alignment. We are seeking an ambitious, highly autonomous individual ready to lead critical initiatives within Lumileds Commercial Operations & Marketing Organization. As a senior professional, you will confidently leverage deep data analytics to steer, influence, and align global business leaders across Sales, Product Management, Legal, and Finance.

What You Will Do:

Design and govern the front-end framework of the sales cycle to optimize marketing-to-sales intelligence transfers, lead identification, and high-value conversion strategies.
Hold full operational and commercial accountability for the APAC territory, overseeing high-stakes business development, price negotiations, and quote portfolio governance.
Partner with Sales Directors, the Sales Development Manager/Director, and executive stakeholders to define and execute penetration strategies for key global enterprise accounts.
Supervise and govern regional pricing frameworks, commercial quotation structures, and margin protection programs across the APAC region.
Develop data-driven intelligence models and predictive analysis frameworks to proactively navigate market dynamics and displace regional competitors.
Monitor and mitigate product price erosion curves, providing sophisticated revenue-impact reports and actionable insights to the Sales Development Manager/Director.
Align Sales, Marketing, and Finance workflows to streamline complex price inquiries, customize advanced proposals, and eliminate cross-regional operational bottlenecks.
Deliver sophisticated business analytics reports, market trend evaluations, and strategic opportunity summaries to global leadership teams.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

5+ years of progressive, senior-level experience in sales, commercial operations, regional account management, or advanced sales analytics within a global B2B or technology manufacturing enterprise.
Proven capability to leverage Salesforce (or equivalent) for building executive-ready reports and dashboards, auditing pipeline forecasts, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize sales team productivity.
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), featuring advanced Excel capabilities specifically in building pivot tables, applying advanced filters, and structuring complex datasets.
Advanced presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical and commercial data into actionable insights that drive alignment across internal teams and key external accounts.
Highly autonomous professional capable of driving strategic, multi-functional programs. Demonstrates the ability to streamline processes and resolve friction points across revenue-generating and supporting functions (Sales, Marketing, and Finance).
A goal-oriented, high-impact professional with a resilient mindset and a steadfast commitment to driving team performance and exceeding strategic commercial objectives.
