About Pixalink

Pixalink is a Malaysian B2B SaaS company helping brick-and-mortar businesses build stronger customer relationships through loyalty programs, CRM, WhatsApp marketing, and customer engagement tools. We work with businesses across F&B, retail, healthcare, and professional services.

We're looking for a curious, organised, and proactive Generalist Intern who wants hands-on experience across different parts of a growing technology company.

About the Role

You'll work closely with the founder and team on business operations, marketing, sales support, and customer experience. Your projects will vary based on business priorities, giving you opportunities to explore your strengths and understand how a SaaS company operates.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, and is comfortable turning an unfamiliar task into a clear plan of action.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations by organising information, maintaining records, and tracking tasks and deadlines.
Conduct research on potential customers, competitors, industry trends, and business opportunities.
Assist the sales team with prospect research, CRM updates, presentations, proposals, and meeting preparation.
Help coordinate customer onboarding, prepare account materials, and document customer requirements.
Support marketing activities, including social media content, campaign preparation, and event coordination.
Test product features from a user's perspective and document issues or suggestions clearly.
Prepare simple reports, spreadsheets, meeting notes, and internal documentation.
Help improve recurring workflows by identifying gaps and suggesting practical solutions.
Take ownership of assigned projects, communicate progress, and follow through to completion.

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field. Applicants from other disciplines are welcome.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, or Microsoft Office.
Willingness to learn new software and understand how businesses use technology.
Resourcefulness and the confidence to ask questions when requirements are unclear.
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and keep the team informed.
A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute across different functions.

Nice to Have

Experience through student organisations, part-time work, volunteering, or personal projects.
Basic skills in Canva, social media management, or content creation.
Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, or no-code tools.
Basic spreadsheet analysis and reporting skills.
An interest in startups, SaaS, customer experience, or entrepreneurship.

What You'll Get

Practical exposure to business operations, sales, marketing, and customer experience.
Direct mentorship from the founder and opportunities to work closely with the team.
Ownership of meaningful projects with clear responsibilities and guidance.
Opportunities to discover your strengths and build transferable professional skills.
A monthly internship allowance commensurate with experience.
A flexible hybrid working arrangement, with on-site attendance when required.
Potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs.
