Summary
The candidate will be responsible on resolving any manufacturing floor test / assembly issue, improving product quality, and reducing the test cycle time.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Provide improved yield, productivity, and cycle time
- Support of the factory floor, such as troubleshooting and disposition of rejects, determining root cause of production issues
- Providing training to production personnel
- New product introduction as well as creating test procedure, documenting, and implementation of processes for new products.
- To develop procedures and tools for testing
- Developing production and characterization test specifications
- Working on cost reduction and cycle time reduction projects
- To ensure the equipment is properly tested, calibrated and certified according to the corresponding procedures
- To ensure accurate document, record and archive measurement data pertaining to product parameters and process control performance
- Develop test fixture as needed
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. Diploma holder with > 5 years working experiences can be considered.
- Solid knowledge in electronics, analog, power and digital
- Should have a Minimum 4 years of practical test experience with semiconductor equipment such as Etch or Deposition products
- Developing Test Programs Using TestStand course or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with High Voltage Test and Insulation Testing.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI or C programming.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills for product final quality test
- Ability to analyse a process, determine gaps/inefficiencies/yield improvement opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global team environment and with other technical teams
