Role Purpose

Implements operation, preventive maintenance and institutes repairs and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment and installation under his job scope, identifies problem areas for improvement to ensure smooth plant operation and maintaining high availability and reliability

Main Accountabilities

1. Responsible for safety, reliability & efficiency of electrical system. Provide swift response to plant upset/or equipment tripping.
2. Ensure the safety of work carried out at electrical system as per Safe Work Procedure by Suruhanjaya Tenaga
3. Operate, control & synchronization of HV power generation system
4. Perform switching, operate and maintain electrical system up to 33kV.
5. Prepare daily electrical reports required for management.

Requirements

Qualification
Certificate or Diploma in Electrical with certificate of competency BO/B4

Experience
Minimum seven (7) years of working experience in Utilities/Large Plant environment.
Experienced in managing large equipment Electric Chillers, Absorption Chillers, Gas Turbine, Emergency Diesel Generators and Boiler.
