Job Description

The 1D Bonder at NOV FGS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. will be responsible for executing 1D spooling fabrication in line with established procedures. The role involves physical labor, precise dimensional measurements, interpreting engineering drawings, and conducting quality inspections to achieve production goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Execute 1D spooling fabrication tasks following standard operating procedures.
• Measure and verify dimensions of fabricated components using calibrated tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions accurately.
• Perform routine physical labor such as material handling and equipment setup.
• Conduct in‑process quality inspections and document results.
• Identify and report non‑conformances to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues to minimize downtime.
• Participate in daily production meetings and provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and waste disposal regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

Job Requirement

• Minimum SPM certificate or equivalent; Bonder/Laminator certificate is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of bonding and lamination processes.
• Able to follow work instructions and SOP.
• Able to perform bonding/laminating tasks under supervision.
• Basic understanding of safety and 5S requirements.
• Physically fit and able to work in production environment.
• Perform basic surface preparation and material handling.
• Conduct visual inspection before QC submission.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and work area.
