Position Details

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management

Fully responsible for the company's financial operations, including developing and implementing financial plans and budgets, and ensuring effective use of funds and sound cash flow management.

• Reporting and Analysis

Prepare financial statements on a regular basis, conduct financial data analysis, and report the company's financial position and operating results to senior management. To oversee all accounting documents and entries and monthly account closing. Supervise the process of all documentation include handling and processing all the invoices, payment vouchers, cheques, monthly payroll payment, staff expenses claims, utilities, debit notes, and credit notes with appropriate supporting material and issuing receipts in an efficient, systematic, and timely manner.

• Budget Control

Monitor budget execution, assist in the preparation of the annual budget, and analyze and adjust budget performance as needed.

• Tax Management

Responsible for tax filing and tax risk management, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, and maintaining good relationships with tax authorities. Assist in corporate tax reporting and audit schedules (capital allowance, fixed asset listing).

• Internal Control

Establish and improve internal control systems to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial operations and conduct internal audits. Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Engineering on all financial-related matters. Participate in cross-functional improvement projects such as ERP system upgrades, process streamlining, or cost reduction initiatives.

• Team Management

Lead and manage the finance team, provide guidance to subordinates, and ensure the achievement of team objectives.

• External Communication

Maintain effective communication with external auditors, banks, and other relevant institutions, and coordinate financial audits and fund management. Ensuring compliance with regulations/legislations as required by the federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.

• Support external and internal audit requirements and facilitate both audit preparation and completion for company. Implement corrective actions to address audit findings.

Requirements:

Education level

Must possess at least Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in related field. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.Prior supervisory experience is an advantage.

Knowledge

Must be able to speak & write in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Possess a strong grasp of accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting procedures.

Good understanding of cost accounting, WIP and inventory processes.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, etc.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proactive, meticulous, has a good sense of responsibility, and attention to details.

A motivated person with strong work ethics and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
