Your Mission
As our Account Executive, your mission is to deliver absolute financial accuracy and clarity across a complex, multi-entity landscape. You will take full ownership of the numbers, maintaining rigorous structure and precision to support the continued scale of our finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (Main)
- Manage day-to-day AR, including invoicing, tour deposits, instalment and balance payments, collections, outstanding balances and ageing
- Track each customer's payment status against tour departure dates and payment deadlines
- Keep accurate records of customer deposits, payments, refunds, credit notes and cancellations
- Reconcile customer collections, payment gateway and card charges, bank transactions and accounting records regularly
- Reconcile sales and collections from travel fairs (such as MATTA Fair), roadshows and online channels
- Follow up on overdue payments and resolve payment discrepancies with customers and the Sales team
- Prepare and maintain AR ageing reports, collection status reports and other AR schedules
Accounts Payable (Supporting)
- Help with day-to-day AP, including invoice verification, payment preparation and payment tracking
- Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents from airlines, hotels, ground handlers, visa agents and other vendors, and make sure approvals are in place before payment
- Help process local and overseas payments, including foreign currency remittances, so suppliers are paid before tour departure
- Help reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies, missing invoices or outstanding items
- Help with payment runs and make sure every payment has valid documentation and approval
General Accounting and Month-End (Supporting)
- Help with bank reconciliations and investigate unmatched or unidentified receipts and payments
- Make sure all AR and AP transactions are recorded in the accounting system accurately and on time
- Help with month-end closing, including AR and AP reconciliation, accruals, prepayments and supporting schedules
- Help match tour revenue and costs for each departure or tour group
- Keep proper documentation and audit trails for all AR and AP transactions
- Work with Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Ticketing to resolve billing, collection, refund and payment issues
What You Must Bring:
- Technical Expertise. In-depth knowledge of International Accounting Standards to ensure full compliance across all ARBA entities.
- Operational Precision. A disciplined approach to systematic record keeping, recording customer deposits, issuing invoices, and reconciling cash flow records without error.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Accounting (Preferred), Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in management accounting or a finance executive role is preferred
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Google Sheets
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support ad-hoc tasks when needed
