What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of day-to-day accounting data entry and ensure accurate financial records.
- Drive timely month-end closing and help keep our accounts in top shape.
- Reconcile key accounts and ensure they're always audit-ready.
- Manage petty cash transactions and prepare insightful monthly reports.
- Organize and prepare payment documentation with precision.
- Support internal teams with on-demand financial data and reports.
- Prepare monthly commission statements and assist with performance tracking.
- Handle annual premium and commission reporting for regulators.
- Collaborate with auditors during annual and special audits and gain firsthand audit experience.
- Assist in planning and monitoring cash flow to support smart business decisions.
- Maintain our VIP client database with professionalism and discretion.
- Get involved in the setup and rollout of the SQL accounting system and build tech skills along the way.
- Be a reliable team player by supporting colleagues during their leave or peak periods.
