An established and reputable Malaysian conglomerate with diversified business operations is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join its finance team. This role offers strong exposure to full-spectrum accounting, financial reporting, and business operations within a stable and growing organisation.

Your new role

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and transaction processing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting/audit experience.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic achievements are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
